Be the welcoming face of The Salvation Army Corps Community Center, greeting every visitor, caller, and donor with warmth and a smile. This role supports daily operations through phone and in-person assistance, coordinates front office activities, and offers administrative support to all departments-helping connect people with resources, programs, and services that make a difference in the community. This full time position works 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday with a pay rate of at least $17.50/hour. The anticipated start date is 9/22/25. The position offers a generous benefits package that includes excellent health, dental, vision, and hearing insurance as well as generous paid time off that includes 10 days of vacation per year, 12 sick days per year (4 of which can be taken like vacation days), 12 paid holidays, 2 personal days, and the ability to earn an additional 2 days of PTO through our wellness program. Job Objective: Provide administrative assistance for Corps operations, serving as first point of contact by telephone and in person for individuals entering The Salvation Army Corps Community Center. Convey friendliness, helpfulness, and guidance to those seeking assistance, those making donations, or those needing pastoral care. Responsible for administrative support to all departments including but not limited to Development, Corps Ministry, and Social Services. Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position. Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: One year of administrative support or receptionist experience.
Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Certifications: Applicant must possess a valid Wisconsin Driver's License with clearance to drive from The Salvation Army's insurance carrier.
