Essential Duties

  • Oversees multiple invoicing types, including implementation, maintenance, and SOWs, to ensure accurate billing to members.
  • Maintains knowledge of OCHIN's Pricebook, conducts tests to assess accuracy in billing, and monitors for pricing updates.
  • Oversees payment posting timely and accurately with proper internal control processes.
  • Develops and provides standard reporting to leadership regarding collection plan and member default.
  • Responds to member questions within 48 hours; ensures team responds professionally and courteously to inquiries and provides warm handoffs when engaging other departments.
  • Guides the Reporting and Install departments in ensuring reporting accuracy; troubleshoots as needed.
  • Manages team workflow to ensure best practices related to invoicing and tracking tasks.
  • Manages AR month-end close and revenue accrual process.
  • Leads AR audit coordination.
  • Collaborates with Statements of Work team to ensure smooth workflows.
  • Oversees AR integrations with key systems to ensure proper sync and data integrity; keeps apprised of AR software trends to ensure efficiency and innovation in AR tech stack.
  • Collaborates extensively with Accounting Manager, Accounts Payable to ensure solid partnership, processes, and engagement between the teams.
  • Models a strong "member first" customer-service mindset for the team.
  • Coaches and develops team members to ensure they can perform their best work and attain goals.
  • Demonstrates ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Takes active role in leadership and member meetings.
  • Handles other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in accounting environment
  • Working Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience is required
  • Experience with escalated customer inquiries and issues is required
  • Credit and collections experience required
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel required (maybe tested)
  • Experience with NetSuite is high desired - preference given to candidates with NetSuite

Work Location and Travel Requirements

OCHIN is a 100% remote organization with no physical corporate office location. Employees work remotely from home and many of our positions also support our member organizations on-site for new software installations. Nationwide travel is determined based on OCHIN business needs. Please inquire during the interview process about travel requirements for this position.

Base Pay Overview

The typical offer range for this role is minimum to midpoint (min-$81,669 - mid-$106,170), with the midpoint representing the average pay in a national market scope for this position. Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors directly relevant to this position, including, but not limited to, skills, knowledge, training, responsibility, and experience, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
