Business Transitions Advisory Consultant - Charlotte or Raleigh or Atlanta

This position acts as subject matter expert in business planning and First Citizens Bank (FCB) Wealth Management and Business Owner Advisory capabilities. Serves as an educator and business development officer for Business Owner Advisory Services to the bank's internal bank partners and external Centers of Influence (COI's). Acts as a wholesaler both internally and externally, assists in the sale of the bank's Business Owner Advisory Services, and coordinates directly with FCB associates to ensure that clients are receiving a consistent and defined wealth process with access to all FCB Wealth Management capabilities. Serves as a brand ambassador by representing and promoting the Wealth Management line of business within the bank and within the communities served.

• Client Acquisition - Identifies and attracts new clients to the Bank's wealth offerings through direct prospecting efforts, client referrals, and by partnering with Bank associates. Builds and cultivates strategic partnerships with centers of influence to enhance acquisition efforts. Responsible for external networking and market development.
• Relationship Management - Serves as a primary point of contact and advocate for high net worth prospects and clients. Maintains current knowledge and awareness of client circumstances, conditions, and overall relationship with the Bank to develop appropriate wealth plans. Represents the full services offering to clients, including investments, banking, financial planning, insurance, and trust services. Develops and executes a high-touch, client-centric experience to maintain and expand existing client relationships. Assists in the planning and facilitation of client events.
• Strategic Advice - Provides prospects and clients with expert wealth management advice. Develops strategic, comprehensive, and long-range plans to achieve the financial needs and goals of high-net worth clients. Identifies appropriate products, services, and solutions based on client needs, wants and goals. Engages other associates within the department to provide ongoing advice, products and services as the needs of clients evolve.
• Collaboration - Fosters effective partnerships with Bank stakeholders to support departmental strategic approach. Engages with specialists from the broader business team to coordinate the delivery of wealth management products and services to clients.

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Acquiring clients and providing comprehensive Banking and Financial Planning advice OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Acquiring clients and providing comprehensive Banking and Financial Planning advice

Preferred Area of Experience: Client Acquisition, Business Planning, Commercial/Business Banking

License or Certification Type:: Advanced Advisor/ Planning Designation /CEPA

If hired in NC, the base pay for this position is generally between $170,000 and $220,000. If hired in GA, the base pay for this position is generally between $190,000 and $240,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
