Project Management Specialist (E3)

Chelsea Groton Bank is hiring a Project Management Specialist to join its Business Intelligence department. This role supports the Project Management Office by leading projects and process improvement initiatives, managing details and communication, and fostering collaboration across the organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the Bank's core traits and behaviors-such as being adaptable, collaborative, inclusive, proactive, and trustworthy-while using exceptional customer service skills to assess needs, drive innovation, and manage electronic workflows. By identifying and recommending changes to existing processes, this individual will help deliver strategic, bank-wide impact that enhances both team member and customer experiences.

Responsibilities and Requirements vary based on job level. Expectations include:

  • Provides bank-wide collaboration by partnering with project leads across departments, driving and guiding initiatives through all stages including discovery, planning, implementation, closing, and sustainment.
  • Manages project logistics by tracking progress, organizing key information, and ensuring data accuracy. Plans, facilitates, and follows up on project and process improvement meetings, while ensuring effective change communication.
  • Contributes to the Project Management Office through enterprise-wide application administration, including document management, workflow and scheduling tools, and expanded use of the M365 environment. This includes developing and maintaining detailed process maps, business use cases, and implementing process improvement objectives and new applications based on business needs.
  • Assists individuals and departments in executing process improvement and project initiatives, helping achieve defined goals and objectives.
