Meet the Team: This is an excellent opportunity to join Cisco's fastest growing product in DSE Routing group that champions new methodologies and creates scalable software solutions. We are looking for multiple experienced Software Engineers who can strive in a dynamic start up like environment, work with an expert and diverse team, participate in architecture design, software, and tools development across geographies. Your Impact:As a valued member of our diverse Cisco IOS XR team, you will play an integral role in the software development process. We are looking for candidates who are adaptable, eager to learn new skills, and ready to take ownership of tasks and features. In this role, you will collaborate with a supportive team of engineers to solve new problems and tackle unique challenges every day, always with a focus on quality and attention to detail. Your contributions may include: Developing new features Creating fully automated testsInvestigating issues, and using our test tools to ensure our software meets the highest standards Work across a range of technologies, including Programmability, Routing Infrastructure, and more.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent with 5 years of experience, a Master's degree with 3 years of expereince or a PhD with one year of experience.Skilled with data structures and algorithms3+ years programming experience in C or C++ Automation experience with Python or GoPreferred Qualifications: Experience in API programming, Routing, gRPC based services, network programming (TCP/IP), prior development experience in Cisco product is an added plus.Experience in complete software development life cycle (SDLC) including automation is an added plus.
