Acara Solutions is seeking a highly qualified Maintenance Technician to work ON-SITE with our client in Richmond, VA.

What You'll Do:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery and facility equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
Collaborate with production teams to quickly and effectively resolve equipment issues.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.
Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Identify faulty, improper, or unsafe operating conditions and take corrective action.
Use hand and power tools, along with material handling equipment, safely and effectively.
Comply with all safety regulations and maintain an organized work area.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement and product quality programs.

What You'll Get:

Pay: $30.00-$38.00+/hr (DOE) + shift differential

Schedule: 40 hrs/week

2nd Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm (Training on 1st shift)

Overtime available

Type: Immediate Direct Hire with full benefits

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma/GED plus craft apprenticeship, or equivalent combination of education and maintenance experience.
  2. Minimum of two years' manufacturing experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial systems.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  1. Journeyman millwright certification, pneumatic/hydraulic certifications, pipe fitting, and welding experience (TIG/MIG/stick).
  2. Strong communication, mathematics, and teamwork skills.
  3. Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  4. Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently stoop, bend, push, or pull.
  5. Basic math proficiency.
  6. Receptive to constructive feedback and able to make appropriate adjustments.
  7. Team-oriented with a positive attitude when facing challenges.
