We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join a well-established and community-focused organization. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in firewall technologies and enterprise security practices who thrives in a collaborative and mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain security policies, roadmaps, and strategies. * Create reusable security solutions and serve as a subject matter expert. * Implement preventative, detective, and corrective controls to protect company data. * Ensure data security, integrity, and accessibility across systems. * Collaborate with business and technical teams to align security with organizational goals. * Participate as a team member or leader on various security initiatives. * Provide expert guidance on enterprise-wide security projects. * Respond to threats against enterprise networks, hosts, and data on a 24/7 basis (on-call rotation: 2 weeks on, 8 weeks off; expect 3-5 calls during on-call periods). Required Skills: * Strong experience with Checkpoint and AWS firewalls. * Expertise in application security, web content filtering, and email monitoring. * Familiarity with intrusion detection/prevention, malware prevention, and network security protocols. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. * Security certifications such as CISSP are a plus.
