Position Summary/ Department Summary:
Temporary- Nurse Practitioner at Martha Eliot Health Center in Jamaica Plain. This role is targeted to start in approximately late September 2025 and run to approximately March 2026. Please note this role does not come with benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing, diagnosing, treating, and referring our pediatric patient population.
  • Providing both urgent care and well visit care (including histories, exams, and anticipatory guidance) with a focus on patients age newborn-22 years of age
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary members of the health care team to design and implement evidence-based care.
  • Developing and recommending standards, policies, and procedures of patient care.
  • Participating in hospital, departmental and multidisciplinary programs, committees, and special projects.
  • Working 40 hours per week: including full days on Mondays and Fridays, Tuesday afternoons, Thursday evenings from 5-7:30 pm. (Off on Wednesdays). Every 2 month weekend schedule at CHPCC.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:

  • A Master's Degree in Nursing

Experience:

  • 3-5 years NP experience in pediatric primary care (New Grad NPs with previous BCH or strong acute care RN experience would be considered)
    Ability to work a weekend rotation to the primary care clinic on the Longwood main campus.
  • Bilingual skills (preferred)

Licensure/ Certifications:

  • MA NP license- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)
