Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring a Key Account Manager. Our company offers excellent benefits, competitive wages and the potential for growth opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Act as Liaison between Chain Division Manager, Key Accounts, Designated Suppliers and Sales Reps.

* Work with Chain Division Manager to monitor house quotas, supplier goals and other supplier programs.

* Track & report results of quotas & programs to ensure success. Identify weak-spots or failures so that we can correct them.

* Provide house proposals & sub-class proposals for the reps to utilize. Maintain sub-class book.

* Provide support to Chain Division Manager with major wine events i.e. Trade Show, TWE, etc. by attending meetings and assisting with supplier correspondence for these events.

* Work with suppliers as need to increase our presence in the market.

* Identify and make presentations to key accounts as well as negatively performing potentially key accounts to increase dollar sales.

* Identify and target sales for under-achieving or new brands in our book.

* Assist in kicking-off & monitoring the success of new brands and programs with the RW team.

* Work with reps to improve their presentation skills and ensure our success.

* Works with and gives direction to Supervisors and Sales Representatives in Retail Sales.

* Other duties as assigned by the Chain Division Manager.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

State approved retail sales license. Valid State Driver's license. CSW.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software and Spreadsheet software.
