Farnsworth Group is seeking a Part-Time Administrative Assistant in the below posting location. In this role, you will provide technical and office support to engineers, architects, and technicians. We are looking for someone to work 9am - 3:30 pm, 5 days / 30 hours per week.


Posting Location for this role: Colorado Springs, CO


Job Activities:


  • Provide high level administrative support to engineers, architects, and technicians by preparing, editing, formatting, and assembling project manuals and reports, conducting research, creating communication documents, and special projects as assigned.
  • Responsibility for front desk and other office tasks, i.e., answering phones and greeting customers and clients.
  • Provide technical writing support and proofread technical plans and specification documents.
  • Assist in the compilation of technical documents and their distribution.
  • Collect and maintain files and project related documentation necessary to sustain project progress.
  • Work effectively as an integral member of a team of administrative professionals.


Specific Requirements include:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration is preferred.
  • 5 - 7 years of administrative support experience, preferably with an Architectural / Engineering, legal or construction firm.
  • Previous office management experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Must be detail-oriented and set high standards for quality.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and proven organizational abilities are required, along with the ability to assign prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines.

Salary Range: $24 - $28 per hour (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
