Physical Therapist (Acute Rehab Unit) SFH Rehab Services Full Time 85813BR Job Summary $5,000 Sign-On Bonus Available! The Staff Physical Therapist (Physical Therapist 2) reports to the Clinical Supervisor and provides both direct and indirect patient care services. The Staff Physical Therapist works primarily with adult and geriatric patients from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. A Staff Physical Therapist with specific pediatric competencies and clinical experience may also work with infants, children, and/or adolescents. Under general direction and upon receipt of licensed approved provider written referrals, the Staff Physical Therapist plans and administers a full range of physical therapy services for patients with a variety of physical and cognitive impairments and disabilities. The Staff Physical Therapist demonstrates practice competence in managing patients of varying clinical acuity and complexity. They may seek mentoring for novel clinical presentations or areas of specialty practice in which they are not yet experienced or certified. Additional responsibilities include:

An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role. For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
