Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Scientist at UL Standards & Engagement. This is a hybrid opportunity based in Evanston, IL OR Raleigh-Durham, NC office. The Data Scientist will support a diverse portfolio of standards and data science initiatives to advance the mission of UL Standards & Engagement (ULSE) to make the world safer, more secure, and sustainable. The Data Scientist will analyze complex data to identify trends and opportunities that inform standards development and contribute to the advancement of evidence-based decision-making. Through the application of statistical modeling, machine learning and predictive analytics, the Data Scientist will enable the organization to anticipate emerging issues, measure effectiveness and support the continuous improvement of safety standards UL Standards & Engagement: At UL Standards & Engagement (ULSE), we expand the boundaries of safety science to create a more secure and sustainable world.
