A Taste of What You'll Do

Join our dynamic team as a Packaging Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our production line. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to of mastering the basics of packaging equipment operations, including loading packaging materials, inspecting machines, and monitoring tasks. As a Packaging Technician, you will be responsible for essential functions such as managing the bottling line conveyers, inspecting labels, and manually operating fillers. Your attention to detail will be vital in ensuring the removal and recycling of discarded materials from the production floor while operating the trash compactor. You will have the chance to operate various equipment safely and efficiently, striving to meet and exceed production goals. We encourage active participation in continuous improvement activities and initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and progress.

Your commitment to sustainability will be integral as you support our programs focused on conservation, energy efficiency, and recycling. By maintaining a sanitary work area and executing routine production reporting and quality checks, you will contribute to our mission of achieving tangible environmental results. Effective communication with team members, leadership, and other departments is essential, as well as following and supporting improvements to work policies and procedures.

We seek candidates who demonstrate situational awareness, urgency, and a basic knowledge of data entry into production and quality systems. Training others on the basics and maintaining satisfactory attendance are key components of this role.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate; OR, one (1) year of experience in beverage production, manufacturing or operations.
  • Required to be physically capable of executing any job tasks within the bottling room.
  • Must be able to repetitively lift and uncase glass cases onto a conveyer belt.
  • Required to work any assigned shift (day, swing, graveyard, 5x8, 4x10); required to work weekends and overtime when necessary.
  • Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Basic knowledge and data entry into production/quality systems.
  • Required to comply with company GMP policies.
  • Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
  • Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
