Job Summary

We are seeking a talentedSous Chefto join the culinary leadership team of a world-class fine dining French restaurant. This role is ideal for a chef with refined skills, a deep appreciation for French gastronomy, and the drive to excel in a world-class kitchen.

As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure outstanding food quality, and uphold the highest standards of presentation and service. You will lead by example, encourage the culinary team, and help deliver an outstanding dining experience rooted in French tradition and modern creativity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support back-of-house operations, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
  • Lead and train culinary staff to ensure consistency, precision, and artistry in every dish.
  • Oversee preparation, cooking, and plating of menu items with attention to detail and French culinary techniques.
  • Assist in menu development, seasonal specials, and signature dish creation.
  • Supervise inventory, place orders, and assist with cost control measures.
  • Step into leadership during the Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef's absence.
Qualifications
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
  • Minimum 3 years of culinary experience, including at least 1 year in a fine dining French restaurant.
  • Solid foundation inclassic French cooking techniquesand knowledge of seasonal, high-quality ingredients.
  • Ability to work all kitchen stations and adapt quickly to service needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an eye for detail and presentation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, encouraging a collaborative and disciplined kitchen environment.
  • ServSafe or HACCP certification preferred.
  • Passion for excellence, creativity, and delivering a memorable dining experience.
