Position Summary

As a Marketing Communication Specialist I, you will help support digital and traditional marketing efforts, internal systems, and marketing projects across various business units. You'll contribute to impactful communication strategies for product launches, major events, and ongoing campaigns aligned with business goals. Your role will also involve managing approval workflows, supporting software platforms, and ensuring smooth operations across marketing systems. Additionally, you'll play a part in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance marketing effectiveness.



This is a hybrid role with the requirement of working onsite at our Mentor, OH Corporate office, 3 days per week.

What You'll Do as a Marketing Communications Specialist I

  • Support the preparation of marketing communications plans and strategies for various programs, including sales tools, literature, and digital initiatives
  • Manage the approval process for marketing communications assets to ensure timely and accurate content approvals
  • Handlerequestsrelated to marketing documentation and workflows
  • Provide digital support including updates to social media channels and web content
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and outside vendors to assist with marketing communications projects
  • Work closely with the Product Management team to develop and update sales collateral, tools, and programs across marketing collateral, websites and social media
  • Assist with assigned events, including workshops, training, customer engagement events, conferences, and webinars
  • Draft communications campaigns/programs, including email marketing, social media posts, and trade show and marketing collateral materials
  • Up to 10% domestic travel

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed

Required:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Marketing
  • Minimum of 1 year marketing communications / project management experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft Excel and working with spreadsheets and data
  • Understanding of digital platforms and marketing trends


Preferred:



  • Copywriting experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated understanding of regulatory requirements of marketing within the healthcare field is a plus
  • Experience with digital asset management, product information systems, and project workflows


Other:



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed to interact with all levels of internal clients, Customers, and external vendors
  • Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set goals and enforce deadlines, while maintaining flexibility to reassess and re-prioritize
  • Quick learner that is comfortable with learning new software and platforms
  • Adept at managing high volume, complexity, fluidity & ambiguity while maintaining professional poise and delivering on commitments.
  • Creative problem solver; and accomplished "doer."

Pay range for this opportunity is$58,012.50-$75,075.00.This position is eligible forbonus participation.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
