As a Technical Telecom Documentation Writer at Nokia, you will be an integral part of our dynamic engineering and product management teams, translating complex telecom concepts into clear, actionable documentation. Your work will directly influence the development of cutting-edge technologies like 5G and WiFi, ensuring both technical and non-technical stakeholders can effectively engage with our products. In this collaborative environment, you will attend design meetings, gather insights from engineers, and adapt content for diverse audiences.   • Create and update comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals and installation guides for telecom products and services.


  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and developers to gather accurate technical information and ensure alignment with project goals.


  • Maintain documentation repositories and ensure content reflects the latest changes in technology and processes.


  • Write tailored documentation for diverse audiences, ensuring clarity for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


  • Adhere to telecom standards such as 3GPP and maintain consistency in style and terminology across all documentation.


  • Utilize industry-standard documentation and diagramming tools to produce high-quality content efficiently.


  • Gather stakeholder feedback to enhance documentation usability and stay informed on emerging telecom technologies.


  • Support knowledge sharing and best practices within the team, mentoring junior writers where applicable.

You Have:



  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Writing, or a related field.


  • 3+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in the telecom industry.


  • Familiarity with telecom technologies (e.g., 4G/5G, WiFi, OAM).


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

It would be nice if you also had:


  • Knowledge of telecom-specific tools (e.g., Wireshark, network simulators).


  • Familiarity with Agile or DevOps workflows.


  • Experience documenting APIs, network architectures, and telecom hardware/software systems.


  • Proficiency with documentation tools (Confluence) and version control tools (e.g., Git).
