Description

Job Summary:


This position serves the district in collecting, verifying, and analyzing district data. This position coordinates state and federal reporting for the district. In addition, this position will coordinate and support local and state assessments.


Reports to:


Director of Curriculum & Instruction


Essential Job Functions:




  1. District lead in all state-level reporting, including DPI snapshots.



  2. Build validation processes to ensure district longitudinal data system is accurate and aligned across all sources (Infinite Campus, local assessment portals, NextPath, WISE Information System).



  3. Responsible for NextPath system - data integrity, cleanup, and validation, staff training, implementation, and user support.



  4. Coordinate local and state assessment windows and develops yearly assessment calendars.



  5. Ongoing evaluation of district data systems to ensure optimal performance.



  6. Disaggregates data and creates district dashboards to ensure accountability at all levels of the district.



  7. Create reports through various systems for district personnel.



  8. Assist technology department to ensure various applications are syncing with student information system (Infinite Campus),



  9. Assist administrative team by providing/preparing necessary reports to various stakeholders to measure school and district goals.



  10. Coordinate district data team activities including problem-solving and data protocols.



  11. Works with buildings and departments to build data systems and workflows to continually improve district efficiencies in data management.





Job Functions: Secondary




  1. Assists with student enrollment.



  2. Serves as back-up to Infinite Campus Specialist.



  3. Administrative duties for Teaching and Learning department.



  4. Perform other duties as assigned.





Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:



  1. Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  2. Education and/or work experience in the educational or information technology field preferred, especially with SQL.
  3. Ability to exercise initiative, original thinking and judgement; drawing upon factual background and fundamental principles.
  4. Experience facilitating and leading teams.
  5. Knowledge of professional networks and state agencies.
  6. Detail and accuracy-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and experience, and a previous track record of documentation.



Environment: This job primarily operates in a professional indoor environment but will include travel to other SASD buildings or out-of-district meetings and training (up to 50%).



Requirements of Essential Functions:


Frequently (34-66%) bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, walking, squatting, reaching, and stair climbing in order to perform essential job functions.


Lifting: 0 -10 pounds constantly (66-100%), 11 - 50 pounds frequently (1-33%)
