Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and running production equipment to meet daily production goals. You'll play a key part in delivering high-quality printed products by operating machinery safely, efficiently, and with close attention to detail. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, accuracy, and reliability matter. Your Responsibilities:
Set up and run printing press equipment based on job instructions and company quality standards Perform regular maintenance (daily, weekly, and monthly) to keep equipment running smoothly Mix and prepare ink to match color and consistency requirements Check paper type, size, color, and amount before running the job Make sure plates are set up correctly before printing Watch the printed materials during the run to ensure good quality Work with the production team to plan and prioritize jobs, adjusting as needed to meet deadlines Follow all safety rules related to the job and the equipment
Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 10:00pm - 6:00a, You Must Have:
Ability to set machine parts to the right measurements Strong math skills and attention to detail Good mechanical skills and ability to work with tools and equipment Able to read and follow written instructions
Requirements within this position:
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
- Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
- Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
- Frequently required to move inside the facility
- Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)
We Would Also Prefer:
High school diploma or GED Able to work with very small measurements and tight tolerances Good communication skills and able to work well with a team Strong thinking and problem-solving skills Good ability to see and tell the difference between colors
