Retail Pharmacy Technician II

Location: 4025 Flat Shoals Parkway, Decatur, GA 30034
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, the Retail Pharmacy Technician II prepares, packages, and distributes medications and pharmaceutical supplies while supporting exceptional customer service and pharmacy operations.

• Assist patients at the point-of-sale; collect payments and issue receipts

• Accurately prepare daily cash deposits and maintain financial logs

• Maintain refrigerator logs and ensure medication storage compliance

• Keep the prescription area clean, organized, and audit-ready

• Support inventory control by ordering based on PAR levels and conducting monthly medication checks

• Transcribe physician orders into patient drug profiles when appropriate

• Return medications to stock and update patient profiles

• Greet customers with professionalism; utilize AIDET in all interactions

• Answer phones efficiently with appropriate greetings and service focus

• Assemble prescription orders for pharmacist verification

• Assist with process improvements and workflow implementation

• Float to other retail pharmacy locations as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program (Preferred)

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician required

• 2+ years of pharmacy tech experience preferred

• Must be a registered Pharmacy Technician or licensed Pharmacist Intern with the State of Georgia Board of Pharmacy

• PTCB certification preferred
