Sr Software Developer

We are hiring a SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER for our IT Solutions team.

The ideal candidate must be within 2 hours of our Neenah WI office.

Summary

The Senior Software Developer at TIDI Products is a key technical leader responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex software solutions. This role involves mentoring junior developers, driving technical best practices, and collaborating closely with business stakeholders and IT leadership to ensure software initiatives align with TIDI's strategic goals. The Senior Software Developer is expected to take ownership of significant software components and projects from conception through deployment and support.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex software applications and systems.
* Act as a technical expert and mentor for junior software developers, providing guidance and conducting code reviews.
* Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and architectural designs.
* Promote and enforce software development best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
* Identify and implement performance optimizations, scalability improvements, and security enhancements for existing and new applications.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, often serving as an escalation point for production problems.
* Contribute to the strategic planning and roadmap development for TIDI's software landscape.
* Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve development efficiency and product quality.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, API documentation, and deployment guides.
* Drive continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automation efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
* 5+ years of progressive experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering successful software projects.
* Expert proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., C#, Java, Python, JavaScript) and associated frameworks.
* Extensive experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including advanced SQL query optimization and database design.
* Strong experience with web services (RESTful, SOAP) and API development.
* Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
* Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build automation tools.
* Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
* Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team collaboration skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and design principles.

Estimated starting annual base salary pay ranges is $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. Please note that the actual compensation offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined by the Company, which may include, but is not limited to, location, experience, qualifications, education, skillset, and market conditions. The target base compensation for this role is in the low to middle of the range, with the top of the range reserved for only exceptional circumstances.
