ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF)

This is an individual contributor role within the Consumer Bank Healthcare Partnerships team with an opportunity to grow into larger strategic responsibilities. The Partner Senior Relationship Manager will report to the Head of Partnerships.

This position will own end-to-end B2B and B2B2C partnerships in support of the KeyBank Consumer Heathcare strategy. Role includes owning day-to-day partner relationship and strategy. Areas of ownership include driving revenue growth and additional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), negotiating product expansion and existing product adoption, owning marketing initiatives across multiple channels to drive partner engagement and results reporting and insights.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Ownership of healthcare partner relationships, including day-to-day management, partnership growth plans, budget and forecast, partner program marketing and events, monthly partner reporting and insights, compliance and contractual areas.
  • Develop a deep understanding of partner audience - their educational journey, career milestones, financial needs and pain points, what drives/motivates them and how KeyBank can support on their financial journey.
  • Develop thoughtful and strategic marketing plans that go beyond the day-to-day - using creative marketing tactics, segmentation and tailored messaging. Deliverables could include multitude of marketing channels, including webinars, digital, events, social, etc.
  • Ability to adapt strategies based on internal business priorities and be nimble with partner management and corresponding engagement activities
  • Proactively look for growth opportunities to expand product suite with existing partners and increase adoption with existing products. Execute end-to-end product expansions
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Enablement teams to onboard new partners and ensure a seamless launch plan and handoff
  • Ongoing review of competitor activity and best practices, with the ability to bring key insights into practice
  • Forecast and budget management for partners within portfolio across all adopted products that aligns with KeyBank strategic priorities, partner goals and leverages historical data and insights
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of partner results to evaluate performance, monitor forecast and develop actionable insights for growth campaigns and initiatives. Proactively share insights/learnings both internally and externally - along with strategic solutions to improve performance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certifications: College degree or equivalent experience, MBA a plus.

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, account management or sales
  • Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field preferred
  • Experience in the financial sector a plus

  • Relationship-driven with experience to interface independently with executives both internal and external - with a proven ability to influence people in a constructive fashion.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to learn quickly and present to executives with confidence
  • Collaborative, and solutions orientated with an ability to come up with creative solutions to problems.
  • Team player who can build strong working relationships, collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholder groups and levels of leadership. Ability to build trust and credibility, across all levels of the organization and with partners
  • Strong financial acumen required - strong command and understanding of success metrics for initiatives - proactively benchmark for leadership
  • Successful track record of developing a marketing strategy, creating a targeted marketing campaign and delivering on the campaign from end-to-end. A deep understanding of marketing plans and referral programs. Demonstrated knowledge of partner marketing strategies
  • Strategic thinker and strong influencer who is comfortable expressing ideas to management, external partners and internal cross-functional stakeholders
  • Analytical thinker, focused on optimizing customer experience and success
  • Enthusiasm for planning and execution, a creative thinker that wants to follow through on seeing ideas come to life

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $100,000 to $130,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
