Safety and Training Coordinator

The City of Bothell’s Employee and Technology Services Department is looking for a committed Safety and Training Coordinator to help advance the City’s Safety Program and uphold a strong culture of safety and regulatory compliance.

In this position, you will take the lead in safety efforts, conduct critical training sessions, and ensure the City meets all applicable safety standards. If you are passionate about promoting a safe work environment and supporting employee growth, we invite you to apply.

What will you do in this position?

• Plan, implement, and maintain City safety programs in compliance with OSHA, WISHA, and other regulations.
• Monitor and evaluate field safety practices, identify risks, and provide real-time coaching to staff.
• Coordinate and deliver training on First Aid/CPR, Forklift Operation, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, and CDL compliance.
• Develop and adapt training materials for varying skill levels and background.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations (local, state, and federal) and ensure employee certifications and training records remain current.
