This full-time position reports to the GIS/Joint Use Manager and is located at the Operations Center. WHAT YOU WOULD DO:
QUALIFICATIONS:Degree, certification or formal training in GIS related field required. Work experience editing with ESRI’s Arc Map or Arc GIS Pro. Auto CAD drafting experience or training is a plus. Knowledge, work experience or background in the electric utility is preferred. Successful candidates must be able to communicate complicated technical information effectively with internal and external stakeholders and have a strong team focus and ability to work collaboratively to achieve common goals. Must have the ability to work effectively in a self-directed environment. BENEFITS:Employees and dependents are eligible for medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance and disability insurance. Employees are enrolled in Washington State PERS and may enroll in deferred compensation plans. Employees will also receive eight hours of vacation leave and sick leave every month and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. SALARY:Clark Public Utilities’ salary ranges are market based and established annually. With full competency in the role and satisfactory performance the target is midpoint within the established range.
