Job Description:
We are recruiting for a full-time CPSO with travel to the DC Metro area, Maryland, and Virginia. The selected candidate will oversee security management operations, serving as a Facility Security Officer (FSO), Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO), and Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO), ensuring compliance with all federal security requirement.
The Contract Program Security Officer shall possess the following capabilities:
- Support multiple federal agencies with varying security standards and procedures, utilizing the NISPOM Rule 32 CFR, ICDs, DoDM 5205.07 and other applicable directives, policies and procedures set forth by the DoD and Intelligence Community.
- Oversee the implementation and enforcement of NISPOM Rule 32 CFR and ICD requirements.
- Conduct security briefings, training, and annual refreshers for all cleared personnel.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to classified contracts, DD254s, visit requests, and incident reports.
- Conduct self-inspections and support DCSA assessments.
- Handle insider threat programs, physical security, and classified storage requirements.
- Maintain familiarity with tools such as DISS, NISS, e-QIP, and Scattered Castles.
- Assist with the development, implementation and monitoring of security policies and procedures, to include the insider threat program
- Provide security indoctrinations, debriefings, pre/post travel briefings and annual refresher briefings as necessary
- Assist in managing multiple prime and subcontracts
- Establish and maintain the eCPRL for each prime contract
- Responsible for ensuring pre-screening of candidates occurs to mitigate risk to the government, and that accurate paperwork and information is submitted to the customers
- Process SCI nominations for personnel supporting various efforts
- Utilize Government security systems to process Visit Requests, Foreign Travel Reports, and Security Packages.
- Investigate security violations and submit required reports to the government
- Document and maintain personnel security files and rosters
- Establish and maintain successful working relationships with government and internal customers
- Act as an advocate for the security program, using sound communication expertise and work with senior level managers to accomplish missions
- Reliable transportation for travel to client facilities in and around the National Capital Region.
- Ability to Travel to VA locations, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an FSO / CPSO supporting DCSA and DoD programs.
- Extensive knowledge of DISS, NBIS, and NISS security systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Reliable transportation for travel to client facilities in and around the National Capital Region.
- Ability to effectively detect, assess, and resolve security-related matters in a timely manner.
- Travel required to client facilities in and around the National Capital Region.
Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph Pay Range: 90,000-135,000 The RealmOne pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
