Job Summary
Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, the VP, Information Security Officer & CISO is a senior leadership role responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing information security strategies, policies, standards, and programs that align with the company's business strategy, overall IT strategy, and corporate risk and compliance objectives.

Your Role & Responsibilities



  • Develop, implement, and manage the company's comprehensive information security strategy to protect data and systems from cyber threats.
  • Oversee the protection of sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and contractual cybersecurity requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize cyber risks, ensuring mitigation plans are in place.
  • Manage incident response and recovery plans, including coordination with internal and external response teams.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on the development and enforcement of corporate security policies and foster a security-first culture across the organization.
  • Oversee a robust security awareness training program for employees, promoting a security-first culture.
  • Assess and audit corporate networks and systems for potential vulnerabilities and develop remediation plans or security countermeasures.
  • Align cybersecurity countermeasures with the company's operations and strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement a strategic, long-term information security strategy and roadmap to ensure that information assets are adequately protected.
  • Understand sourcing models and leverage strategic partnerships to advance cyber capabilities in the most effective and efficient manner.
  • Oversee the evaluation, selection and implementation of information security solutions and countermeasures which are innovative, cost-effective, and minimally disruptive.
  • Identify, evaluate and report on information security risks, practices and projects to the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors, and provide subject matter expertise on security standards and best practices (e.g. NIST, ISO, CIS, etc.).
  • Lead the management of up-to-date information security policies, procedures, standards and guidelines, and oversee their approval, dissemination, and maintenance.
  • Monitor the latest cyber threat intelligence and respond to emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop business metrics to measure the effectiveness of the security management program and increase the maturity of the program over time.


Preferred Education & Experience



  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in information security, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven success in building, developing, and leading high-performing information security teams
  • Demonstrated track record of creating and implementing effective information security policies, procedures, and programs
  • Extensive expertise in business risk, risk assessment, and risk-based decision-making
  • Required professional certification: CISSP, CISM, or CISA

  • Strong administrative, financial management, project management, and vendor management capabilities

  • Proven ability to identify emerging cyber threats and apply effective countermeasures
  • Approachable, responsive, ethical, and committed to fostering a positive organizational culture


Your Work Environment (Physical Demands)

Remote/Hybrid: Typically work is performed either in an office environment or a suitable workspace to conduct business free of distractions and background noise. This position requires compliance for all occupational safety and health standards, rules, and regulations. Below are a few standards specific for this position:



  • Sit or stand for long periods of time and walk short distances
  • Regularly required to talk, hear, and communicate in writing
  • Adjust to vision for both close and distance views
  • Stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $185,200 to $278,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
