This position is hybrid. The employee is split between remote and office work on a formalized schedule. Consideration for location will be at our Blue Ash Banking Center.

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.


Six months to one-year related experience and/or training preferred.


Or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Must maintain a current and active NMLS number.

Job Description

Summary


This position will assist their assigned Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) in all functions related to the origination of mortgage loans, client service and expansion of market share. Assists the MLO in all matters related to the ordination of a mortgage loan.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Assists the MLO in Pre-Qualifying purchase customers as requested.


Assists the MLO in completing loan applications, inputting complete and accurate information in the Origination System currently utilized by WesBanco Bank.


Obtains all necessary documentation specific to the product, program and specific needs of the client.


Reviews customer provided documentation to insure it meets all industry standards, reviews customer credit and analyze overall information to ensure that any unanswered questions are documented and provided.


Reviews realistic expectations and timeline with the customer during the initial application process.


Conducts weekly pipeline calls with your MLO, processor and/or team to ensure all information is shared, and all needs are identified.


Maintains and updates sales stage information to ensure the referral source can see the progress of the referral.


Utilizes and maintains the bank's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to stay in touch with past clients and referral sources.


Works with the MLO in prioritizing and utilizing the CRM system to grow relationships and opportunities.


Completes clerical functions as directed to support an effective mortgage process for the customer, MLO, processor, underwriter and closer.


Will be responsible for 2 week & 2 month follow ups with all pre-approved apps


Implements the strategies and techniques used to ensure that customers have a positive experience with the organization and its wide range of products and services at each milestone during the application process.


Manages file flow from MLO to processing to underwriting. Reviews underwriting conditions with underwriter and processor and then effectively communicates those items to customers, realtors and builders


Works with MLO, customers, attorneys, realtors and builders to ensure all parties are informed on the status of every application

Provides exceptional, professional service to mortgage customers, underwriters, processors and closers.



Computer Skills


Ability to utilize Microsoft Office software.


Ability to learn commercial banking software.
