The Operating Room Materials Coordinator is responsible for ordering, receiving, storage and distribution of all supplies used in the Operating Room.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • The Operating Room Materials Coordinator will maintain accurate records of repairs made and follows up with customers on work performed or scheduled
  • This position provides support and training to clinical operators on the correct setup and operation of patient care equipment. Additionally, the OR Material Management Coordinator supports the daily business operations of the operating room by reviewing equipment, implant usage, evaluating par levels, coordinating surgical equipment for upcoming cases, evaluating processes, and managing workflows for cost savings
  • The Operating Room Materials Coordinator, in collaboration with the OR Supervisor and Director of Nursing, will determine capital request needs for future growth and expansion, as well as keep current equipment up to date

Required Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of experience in Multi Specialty OR as a Surgical Tech
  • Demonstrated computer skills, intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel,
  • Proven knowledge of surgical preference cards
  • Proven materials management software knowledge



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelors, CPM, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in multi-specialty operating rooms, purchasing and/or management
  • Advanced knowledge of materials management software knowledge, i.e.: Lawson, McKesson, Epic
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Database program



Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 to $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
