Job Description Business Sales Specialist 705 Myles Standish Blvd, Taunton, MA 02780 TAOFF Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time Business Sales Specialist, you will support customer development and continued growth of our large customers. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Developing and growing the corporate relationship o Quoting and sourcing product for customers o Working with the District Managers and local account teams across the country to grow existing business and to add additional new business at each plant location REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed oPossess at least 1 year of sales work experience oExcellent written and oral communication skills oProficient using Microsoft Office Suite oHighly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented oDemonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities oExhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills oWork independently as well as in a team environment oLearn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment oWillingness to travel 50%+ of the time oDemonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs oPass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: oPossess a degree in Business/Marketing or a related field of study o Possess 2 years of related industry sales work experience oDemonstrate knowledge of material management programs and cost savings documentation oPrior work experience and success in key account sales ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
