Loan Documentation Specialist - Colorado Springs, CO As a Loan Documentation Specialist, you'll be the backbone of loan processing-ensuring every document is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time. You'll manage a steady flow of 5-7 loans at a time, spanning consumer, mortgage, and commercial types. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-driven environment and is eager to grow within a supportive team. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Work Model: On-site Compensation: $19.25+ dependent on experience. Contract Type: 3-month contract-to-hire. Key Responsibilities Prepare, quality-check, and deliver loan documentation for all loan types and regions. Ensure compliance with BSA, GLBA, TRID, RESPA, HMDA, and other banking regulations. Use Laser Pro and core systems to input and process loan data. Review checklists for accuracy in borrower details, fees, addresses, payment structures, and deed of trust information. Assign and track loan requests using centralized reporting tools. Collaborate with lending staff and act as a reference point for loan processes. QC peer documentation before final delivery. Meet tight deadlines to support timely customer closings. Flag and correct documentation issues proactively. What You'll Need 1+ year of banking experience or equivalent education Familiarity with HMDA, RESPA, TRID, Reg B Strong attention to detail and critical thinking Ability to multitask and adapt quickly Self-starter with strong organizational skills Long-term growth mindset Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with Laser Pro Experience in mortgage or trade documentation Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
