***Must have experience with Figma- if not please do not submit an application*** ***Must be able to go W2 directly with client*** *Description* We have a unique opportunity with an automotive client for a UX Content Quality/Copy Editor position. This role will require a strong editing skillset, attention to detail and ability to work in ambiguity. This role will entail ensuring quality of content is accurate once it has passed the initial design iteration and has been transitioned through the software lifecycle and showing up on the operating system within the vehicle. This could include checking quality across anything in the vehicle where content could live; it could be driver display, center display, command console, smaller screens, displays in the back seat where you are watching videos, etc. The goal of this position on the team will be to ensure that content looks accurate once it shows up in the vehicle and that it's not truncating or appearing differently than intended once in a live environment. This person will spend time performing quality checks through static observation in the vehicle, through simulations or in a life environment. This will be more hands off in the actual creation of the content and more so quality control and review, with the need to jump in occasionally and provide editing support. *Requirements:* - Editorial eye, proven skill with making things tighter and more concise - Skilled at conversing with technical partners - Proven experience working in Figma - Should feel comfortable applying deep thinking through content design to projects but also equally comfortable spending time applying your editorial sense editing errors and alerts - Experienced and comfortable working within established products and writing guidelines - Thinks systematically and considers an entire product ecosystem when working - A self-starter who can identify the next job to be done and also communicate proactively before starting on it - Comfortable with ambiguity and be proactive and discerning about clarifying confusing details *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
