*Member Service Center Representative*
Location: 27000 Evergreen Rd, Lathrup Village, MI 48076 Pay Range: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Michigan First Credit Union is seeking personable, solution-oriented individuals to join our 24-hour Call Center team. As a Member Service Center Representative, you'll deliver exceptional service, build lasting relationships, and help members navigate their financial needs with confidence. We're looking for candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy problem-solving, and bring a positive, team-first attitude to every interaction. *Key Responsibilities:* * Handle 80-100 inbound calls daily, addressing member inquiries and resolving issues * Provide information on banking products including checking, savings, loans, and lines of credit * Document member interactions accurately and efficiently * Recommend financial services and products based on member needs * Process loan payments and various account transactions * Deliver consistent, high-quality service and represent the Michigan First brand with professionalism * Assist members with online banking, account troubleshooting, and loan applications * Follow through on commitments and ensure all details are addressed *Qualifications:* * High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in business or related field preferred * Previous experience in customer service, retail, call center, or financial services is a plus * Strong computer and data entry skills * Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving abilities * Ability to learn and apply processes and product knowledge quickly * Must be available to work one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) each week *Schedule Details:* * Full-time, five days per week * One weekend day required; weekday off provided * Shifts may vary and are subject to change based on team needs * Candidates may indicate preferred shift (e.g., day, afternoon, evening), but flexibility is essential Sample Shifts: * 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM * 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM * 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM * 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM * 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM *Training & Work Environment:* * Initial training: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for approximately 3 months * Ongoing team-based training using shadowing and teach-back methods * Business casual dress code *Assessment Process:* Candidates who pass the credit check will be invited to complete the OAD Survey, a brief personality assessment designed to understand work-related temperaments and behaviors. The survey is not a test and takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
