About the Role: We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Closing Verification Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be a key player in ensuring smooth and secure loan closings by verifying financial and title-related information, preventing fraud, and coordinating with banks, title companies, and attorneys. What You'll Do: * Make outbound calls to banks, title companies, and attorneys to verify account details and insurance coverage. * Confirm wiring instructions and ensure funds are directed to the correct parties. * Initiate third-party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit reports). * Review and validate loan documents and financial records. * Monitor work queues and intervene as needed to maintain workflow. * Assemble and maintain closing verification packets with high accuracy. * Use Excel to track and manage verification data. * Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and expedite processing. * Prepare title packages and perform data entry in the afternoons. What We're Looking For: * Strong phone presence - confident, professional, and clear communicator. * Detail-oriented - meticulous in reviewing documents and verifying information. * Self-starter - proactive and able to work independently. * Persistent and patient - consistent follow-up while maintaining professionalism. * Quick learner - adaptable to changing processes and systems. * Organized - keeps thorough records of calls, verifications, and follow-ups. Preferred: * strong communication and organizational skills. * Experience in banking, title, escrow, or mortgage operations. Qualifications: * Associate's degree or equivalent work experience. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. * Experience in financial services or mortgage industry preferred. * Understanding of applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations. * Top Skills: * Data Entry * Customer Service * Multi-tasking * Professional Communication * Title Insurance & Vendor Vetting Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
