A leading creative services team is seeking a strategic and hands-on Digital Asset Management (DAM) & Product Information Management (PIM) Resource Planner to drive the vision, planning, and optimization of its DAM and PIM systems. This dual-role position blends product ownership with functional project management, emphasizing backend automation, metadata strategy, and cross-functional collaboration.
*Key Responsibilities:* *Strategic Leadership & Planning* * Define and evolve the long-term vision for DAM and PIM systems, including future integrations with web and internal platforms. * Serve as the functional product owner, working closely with IT and other stakeholders. * Lead and mentor one associate while aligning cross-functional teams on data and asset strategies. *DAM Oversight* * Manage the full lifecycle of digital assets (e.g., images, videos, documents). * Develop and maintain metadata schemas and taxonomy to enhance asset organization and searchability. * Monitor system performance, drive user adoption, and enforce best practices for asset usage and rights management. *PIM Oversight* * Ensure accurate and consistent product data across all channels. * Support the development of product content, including descriptions, specifications, and imagery. * Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to enrich and align product data. *Process Optimization & Collaboration* * Partner with IT to implement backend automation and system enhancements. * Utilize tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Office, and metadata tagging systems to manage workflows. * Analyze data, support SEO tagging, and contribute to data science and analytics initiatives. *Required Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Library Science, Computer Science, or a related field. * 5+ years of experience working with DAM and PIM systems. * Strong knowledge of metadata, taxonomy, and digital rights management. * Experience with system integrations, API management, and workflow optimization. * Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. * Proven project management experience in DAM/PIM environments. *Preferred Qualifications:* * Experience in industries with complex product ecosystems (e.g., automotive, manufacturing, retail). * Familiarity with bespoke or homegrown systems. * A forward-thinking mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
