Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Lead, where you'll take charge of facility and equipment maintenance across multiple sites, guiding both local and traveling maintenance efforts. This leadership position sits at the heart of our operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and a high standard of quality for our properties in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Florida. *** This will involve local travel along with approximately 30% travel which may include overnight and out of state
Key Responsibilities
Lead Routine Maintenance & Repairs: Oversee, assign, and participate in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repair tasks. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues; support installations and facility renovations.
Team Supervision & Scheduling: Provide day-to-day direction, technical support, and mentoring to maintenance staff. Assign and track work orders, ensuring completion to quality and safety standards.
Equipment, Tools, & Preventive Maintenance: Maintain and ensure operational readiness of hand and power tools. Direct and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
Work Orders & Recordkeeping: Prioritize, respond to, and close out work orders. Document maintenance activities, materials used, and report status to management.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies. Proactively maintain a safe work environment and conduct hazard assessments.
Collaboration & Vendor Management: Coordinate with external contractors, inspectors, and vendors for specialized services. Work cross-functionally with other departments to resolve facility needs.
Travel Support: Support company properties in designated out-of-state regions as needed, providing both hands-on maintenance and leading local teams during travel assignments.
