TSTC Benefits TSTC Retirement Plans Employee Discount Program Job Description: TSTC faculty deliver approved curriculum, content, and assessments in an applied learning environment. Responsibilities include the facilitation of activities and discussions that engage a range of learning styles with targeted guidance and mentorship to students.Faculty will also interpret and administer assessments and offer constructive feedback to support student growth and learning outcomes. A key part of the role is to integrate technology effectively to enrich the educational experiences. Faculty act as ambassadors for their programs and TSTC. Essential Functions Employee will demonstrate TSTC Core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service and Integrity with internal and external stakeholders, customers, students and members of the community. Instructional Delivery Prepare and deliver high-quality instruction and facilitate students' learning. Curriculum Development & Planning Develop appropriate course syllabi and instructional plans and organize daily classes utilizing a variety of creative/innovative techniques. Classroom & Records Management Fulfill assigned schedule, maintain accurate student records, maintain instructional environment with emphasis on safety, and equipment security where applicable, and ensure opportunities for student/participant evaluation. Student Advisement & Support Perform student advisement such that students are provided with timely, accurate, and comprehensive information. Retention & Success Collaboration Collaborate with the Office of Student Success to ensure students receive current information on tutoring and other programs designed to increase retention. Recruitment & Outreach Participate in related tours and recruitment events. Assist in department/program recruitment planning. Customer Service & Professionalism Demonstrate a willingness to be of service and exhibit pleasant and courteous behavior toward customers (students, parents, employers, and media), organizational coworkers, and other general public contacts. Flexibility & Scheduling Maintain flexibility, including availability for evening, weekend, or summer assignments, as appropriate. Team Collaboration Work effectively in a team environment. Education, Experience, & Skills Required QualificationsAssociate's degree required. 2-3 years of professional experience required. Exceptional cases of professional experience or credentialing in lieu of the above requirements may be considered on an individual basis by the Vice Chancellor who oversees academic programs or his/her designee.* Verifiable work experience in semiconductor manufacturing Strong mechanical skills Working knowledge of the following:AC/DC electrical systems and schematics Statistical Process Controls Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, except in cases where a specific degree is required to meet accreditation standards, licensure requirements, or other legislative or regulatory obligations. This includes, but is not limited to, certain faculty positions and staff roles governed by state or federal educational mandates. Work Environment & Additional Information Work LocationThis is an On-Campus position that requires employees to be physically present at the assigned campus location as scheduled by their manager. Travel RequirementsThis role may require occasional travel to different office locations and events. Work ShiftFlexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed. Time TypeThis position is fulltime, requiring a standard 40hour work week. FLSA ClassificationThis role is classified as salaried, exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
