Position Summary: The primary purpose of this team is to work on partner manufacture free drug programs. This team works primarily on the fulfillment side of orders, although some upfront verification and patient counseling is required.

Background & Context:

• We are a closed door pharmacy with minimal in person contact with patients
• This hiring need is to support future software conversion training for permeant staff
• This role is unique in that it focuses mostly on providing patients who qualify free drug programs medications.
• With a focus on Multiple Sclerosis patients.

• Pharmacist primary responsibility will review prescription orders, utilizing a 16 point check to review prescription information is accurate, confirm eligibility of patient in the free drug program, and review shipping information is accurate.
• Pharmacist will also answer calls in regards to patient counseling, shipping delays, and product stability.
• There are also secondary tasks such as transfers and calls for clarification.
• Expectations is for all scheduled orders to be shipped out.
• There is a comprehensive scorecard used to monitor productivity.
• Will monitor calls, orders, shipments per day/ or hour
• Coordinate and assist in managing and participating in pharmacy services, including dispensing of medications, quality assurance and clinical monitoring activities.
