We are looking for a safety conscious Yard/Forklift Operator to join our team in Buckeye, AZ.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Observe load hookup and determine the safety of the load.

• Read job/plan requisition paperwork to select the proper material for the proper project.

• Retrieves steel material from the prep department for placing it on the assembly line.

• Maintain material for assembly workers.

• Maintain a positive work environment by behaving and communicating in an effective manner with coworkers and supervisors.

• Adhere to safety protocols.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.

$20 / Hour

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. The range may vary by location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Six months of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment, preferably in the steel industry a plus.

• Ability to pass internal test to obtain valid crane operator certification.
• Heavy Equipment experience preferred

• Ability to read and understand order requisition or design paperwork and read a measuring tape.

• Ability to lift and carry materials to keep line loaded.

• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, applying common sense and understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Frequent communication with others to exchange information.

• Frequent repetition of motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

• Frequent moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.

• Frequent lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.

• Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

• Constantly thinking and processing information.

• Constantly maintaining concentration and focus on tasks.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Manufacturing floor with machinery.

• Exposure to airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold.

• Use of personal protection equipment is required.
