CareDx is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Corporate Communications Specialist to join our growing team. This role will support a wide range of communications initiatives, including internal communications, social media strategy and execution, brand storytelling, and intranet content management. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, strategic thinker, and collaborative team player with a passion for healthcare and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of corporate communications strategies aligned with company goals and values.
  • Manage and execute CareDx's social media presence across platforms, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring, and analytics.
  • Support the drafting and editing of press releases, executive messaging, internal announcements, and other communications materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels and departments.
  • Lead internal communications efforts, including newsletters, intranet updates, employee engagement campaigns, and town hall support and company meeting/events.
  • Help plan and execute corporate events and leadership communications.
  • Maintain and update the company intranet with timely and relevant content. Support corporate website updates as needed.
  • Assist in managing media relations, including drafting responses, coordinating interviews, and maintaining media lists.
  • Support brand consistency across all communications, ensuring alignment with visual and messaging guidelines.
  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends to inform communications strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably in healthcare, biotech, or life sciences.
  • Proven experience managing social media channels for a brand or organization.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Experience with internal communications and intranet platforms (e.g., SharePoint).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and communications platforms (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite) is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities.

San Francisco Bay Area Roles:

The anticipated base salary range for candidates who will work in Brisbane, California is $76,000 to $95,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. CareDx is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
