Description
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to ensure the highest standards in our manufacturing process. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality products, we'd love to hear from you!
3rd Shift, Sunday - Thursday, 11:00pm - 7:00am
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour plus $2.10 shift differential per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Regular Quality Checks: Perform at least two checks per production machine each shift, assessing measurements, seal integrity, hot melt application, and overall product appearance.
- Lead Production Line Inspections: Assist with first-off inspections to ensure each production line is ready to go at the start of every shift.
- Finished Product Audits: Perform thorough audits on finished products at least once per shift to ensure quality standards are met.
- Non-Conformance Tracking: Document any nonconforming materials and help manage quarantine procedures, including inventory transactions.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter quality data into various systems and track product quality throughout production.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with production and quality teams to maintain high standards and resolve any issues quickly.
- Flexible Work Schedule: Must be willing to work overtime when needed, sometimes with short notice.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required. We'll provide training to help you succeed!
- Skills:
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Comfortable using hand-held devices and tablets for data entry.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong problem-solving and safety awareness skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Regular walking and standing; occasional sitting, stooping, bending, and twisting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs regularly.
- Clear vision, including depth perception and peripheral vision, required for quality control tasks.
Work Environment:
- Safety First: You'll work in an environment with complex machinery, so a focus on safety and awareness of operational hazards is essential.

- Noise and Temperature: Hearing protection is required due to high noise levels. You may experience exposure to varying temperatures depending on the season and area of the plant.
