What Does a Senior Manager, Risk Management do at Swire Coca-Cola do? The Sr. Manager of Risk Management is responsible for leading and developing the risk management team, enabling and achieving strategic objectives of the function and ensuring effective and timely risk management for the organization. This role champions the process of identifying, measuring, and managing insurable or hazard risks, engaging with the business to execute risk management plans, processes and strategies, developing reports and plans, and analyzing existing and emerging risk/insurance opportunities. Will manage key relationships with insurance brokers, underwriters and third-party claims administrators as well as manage material loss mitigations and any litigation actions. Lead the annual insurance renewal for all types of insurance (General Liability, Property, Worker's Compensation and Auto).
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of risk and claim management professionals
- Monitor the effectiveness of risk management programs and identify areas for improvement
- Regularly report on risk exposures to senior management and stakeholders
- Support Business continuity plans and activities to ensure the organization can continue operating in the face of disruption
- Influence key business stakeholders to ensure communication and compliance with Risk Management policies
- Steward the enhancement, deployment and execution of the Swire Coca-Cola claims management and asset protection programs
- Conduct compliance analysis and assessments of all loss control programs and policies, minimum annually, or as changes in regulations, or process, occur
- Leverage business relationships and influence leadership and operations to support, communicate, and drive the execution and sustainability of current and future risk management programs and action plans
- Management of key vendor relationships including quarterly business review; management of Service level agreements; claims reviews and support request for proposal process (RFP)
- Provide direction to support the minimization of regulatory and potential loss exposure
- Provide input to overall loss control strategies for Swire Coca-Cola USA; and recommend and influence ways to actualize these strategies with key stakeholders and ensure cost savings where possible
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in related field (Business, Finance, Risk Management) required
- Certification in Risk Management (ARM, CRMP) preferred
- 6+ years Managerial experience in risk management or a related field required
- 2+ years experience with development of loss control policies/programs for a diverse operating environment required
- Excellent written, oral, time management and people skills
- Project Management experience
- Proficiency in regulatory interpretation and compliance
- Understanding of risk management principles
- Experience in risk modeling and simulation
