RSM Data & Digital Solutions - Application Development Intern

In your application, please list your number one location preference.

At RSM, our Application Development interns work with a variety of clients across different industries, helping them solve real business challenges. As an intern, you'll be part of multiple team and client projects, gaining exposure to different aspects of each engagement-not just one piece.

You'll collaborate in a supportive team environment where learning and growth are encouraged. Your work may include updating existing systems, integrating new technologies, and ensuring data accuracy. A hands-on approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn are key to success in this role.

Examples of the candidate's responsibilities include:

  • Design and document specifications for data integrations
  • Coordinate with client lead users and client engineering teams to test and implement new or modified programs as needed
  • Document requirements and assist in ERP/CRM development in creating ERP/CRM customizations
  • Develop a deeper knowledgeon proper coding technique

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing abachelor's degreeinMIS, Computer Science or related IT field required
  • Strong analytic andproblem-solvingskills
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Database Design
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Must be a team player and be able to effectively communicate with staff at all levels of the firm
  • Travel to assigned client locations is required. Must have access to and ability to arrange for use of reliable modes of transportation to those locations
  • A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Software, CRM or ERP experience
  • Experience withany/all ofthe following:
  • SSRS
  • MOSS/SharePoint Services
  • Microsoft CRM SDK
  • Programming languages such as VB.net, C#, ASP.NET, and JavaScript
  • Experience with data integration tools
  • Experience with Agile methodologies a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as an effective member of a team
  • Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment
