Foundry Team Member

Gemini is looking for a 1st shift Foundry Production Worker to join the team at our location in Decorah, IA! Come be a part of a positive, people-first culture that is focused on leveraging each team members' strengths to help bring our customers' unique signage products to life.

Wage Range: $17.90 -$23.69

Location: Decorah, IA

Type: Full Time

Consistent Schedule: 7:00 am- 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday

• Overtime is scheduled as needed.

A day in the life of a Foundry Team Member at Gemini includes:

1. Utilizing hand/power tools and operating equipment to finish high quality product.
2. Inspecting and assembling the finished product and shipping appropriately to the customer.
3. This role sits in a metal foundry. Our operators create sand molds to be poured with liquid metal to create a metal casting.
4. Due to the nature of a metal foundry, working conditions require the use of proper PPE to protect hearing and vision as well as the ability to physically load and unload materials.
5. Reporting to Plant Manager

Education and Experience

• Manufacturing Experience
• Automotive Paint Experience
• High level of mechanical aptitude
• Foundry related experience
• Lean manufacturing experience

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
• Operate a variety of power saws and routers, cutting out letters from plastic sheets.
