A.I.S., Inc. (AIS) is a national scientific services firm supporting maritime activities requiring certification of compliance with environmental regulations as well as collecting data for use by Federal, State, Municipal, and other government agencies along the US coastline. We are seeking a Website Developer/508-Compliance Specialist to support NOAA's Northeast Fisheries Science Center Primary Function: This role is responsible for managing and updating web-based information, ensuring all digital content complies with NOAA Fisheries business rules and Section 508 accessibility standards. The specialist will work closely with NEFSC communications, IT staff, and the NOAA Fisheries Web Council to ensure content consistency and accessibility. They will lead auditing, migration, and rewriting of existing materials, provide 508 compliance training, and support internal teams transitioning to compliant web platforms. Duties/Responsibilities:
Compensation: Candidates will be paid an hourly rate to be negotiated and total compensation will vary depending on candidates' depth of experience. This is a full-time position. AIS benefits package includes health and dental insurance, vacation, sick and holiday benefits. Minimum Qualifications:
