We're looking for a Head of User Experience who can transform UX into a strategic powerhouse at Chatham. The right individual will be successfully at winning executive buy-in, removing barriers, and leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver experiences that drive measurable business results and outcomes for our users. In this role you will:



  • Introduce and integrate responsible, practical uses of AI in user experience design and research workflows.
  • Develop and communicate a clear UX vision aligned with Chatham's strategic goals and measurable business outcomes.
  • Build executive trust, secure investment, and position UX as a recognized strategic driver, not just a delivery function.
  • Increase the visibility of the User ExperienceTeam and the value it brings to the organization and build strong relationships with commercial and client-facing teams.
  • Remove organizational blockers by securing early client access, ensuring UX engagement at the right stage, and enabling the team to focus on high-value output.
  • Partner with UX Operations to define scalable workflows, team rituals, and resourcing models that balance delivery speed and quality.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary UX team with clear roles, expectations, and progression paths.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to improve delivery focus, optimize PDLC touchpoints, and guide the strategic growth and adoption of the Design System.
  • Define and track UX metrics to guide decisions and demonstrate ROI, including accessibility and inclusive design measures.
  • Be an active member oftheUser ExperienceTeam, participating ininterfacereviews, feedback sessions and demos.
  • Turn complexity into simplicity.


Your impact:

You will elevate UX's role across the company by gaining earlier involvement in strategic initiatives, securing consistent executive support, and building clear, measurable links between UX and business outcomes. Success will be reflected in stronger cross-functional alignment, improved UX maturity across disciplines, a visible increase in team retention and growth, and tangible evidence of UX's contribution to product success, client satisfaction, and revenue growth.

Contributors to your success:



  • 10+ years of experience in UX/Product Design with at least 5 years leading multidisciplinary teams (UX Research, Design Systems, Product Design, Design Ops).
  • Proven success influencing executives and managing upward in an in-house B2B environment.
  • Track record of delivering measurable UX impact tied to business goals and P&L.
  • Deep understanding of visual and interaction design principles, including accessibility and ADA compliance.
  • Expertise in design systems, scalable design processes, and Agile/PDLC collaboration with product and engineering teams with a delivery mindset.
  • Proficiency with Figma, Jira/Confluence, and other design and collaboration tools.
  • Experience applying AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, v0, Copilot) in design workflows.
  • Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to foster collaboration, transparency, trust, and safety while encouraging debate and committing to decisive actions that advance the team.
  • Portfoliodemonstrating design system deliverables and/or user experience and visual design work.
  • Portfolio highlighting UX leadership with case studies, influence on outcomes, and how design direction supported business success.
