Job Title: Snr HR Manager

Location: Smyrna, TN

Work Arrangement: ON-SITE

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our automotive supplier company. This role is responsible for overseeing all human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, training, and organizational development. The ideal candidate will support a fast-paced manufacturing environment by ensuring HR strategies align with business goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement hiring strategies to attract top talent for manufacturing and engineering roles.
  • Manage the onsite HR team, comprised of generalists, payroll administrators, etc.
  • Partner with plant management to ensure workforce planning aligns with production demands.
  • Manage onboarding programs to enhance employee integration and retention.
  • Foster a positive work environment through proactive employee engagement initiatives.
  • Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and ensure fair treatment in accordance with company policies.
  • Develop and implement employee recognition and retention programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage workplace policies and procedures to maintain compliance with industry and safety standards.
  • Oversee audits and reporting related to HR functions.
  • Implement performance appraisal systems and guide managers in conducting evaluations.
  • Develop training programs to enhance employee skills, leadership, and career development.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in employee development and productivity.
  • Work with leadership to design competitive compensation and benefits packages.
  • Ensure proper administration of payroll, benefits, and incentive programs.
  • Manage leave policies, workers' compensation, and employee assistance programs.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Support change management initiatives, including company growth, restructuring, and cultural transformation.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.


Minimum Requirements:

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).


Experience:



  • Experience managing recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
  • 7+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive industry.


Skills:



  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, labor relations, and HR best practices.
