Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the administrative functions and daily operations of our office. You will be the welcoming face of our organization, providing support to employees and visitors, and ensuring a smooth and professional work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Manage office operations and procedures, including organizing and maintaining supplies and other clerical services.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the office, handling incoming calls, sorting mail, greeting visitors, and directing them to the appropriate person.
  • Negotiate the purchase of office supplies, furniture, and equipment, while adhering to company policies and budget restrictions.
  • Assist the HR department with new employee onboarding and help with recruiting responsibilities as needed.
  • Supervise the maintenance of office equipment and facilities to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Perform various clerical tasks as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and assisting with special department projects.


Requirements:



  • Six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a variety of people.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to apply common sense to various situations.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic mathematical skills for tasks such as calculating rates and percentages.

Hourly starting rate: $24 - $26. Compensation is determined based on competitive market data, experience, skillset and geographical location.
