POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Salesforce Developer will lead the ongoing development and optimization of our Salesforce platform. This position works closely with internal teams across service operations, marketing, compliance, and IT to extend platform capabilities, integrate systems, and deliver value through smart automation and unified member data. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone excited to work with a modern Salesforce stack in a mission-driven financial institution.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Owns the ongoing development and enhancement of our newly implemented Salesforce FSC, Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloud environment.

* Triages and resolves defects in existing Financial Services Cloud deployment.

* Builds scalable, reusable Apex code, Lightning Web Components, and automated flows.

* Configures and enhances Lightning Pages, Roll-ups, and standard FSC components.

* Builds filterable dashboards and dynamic reports to support operational visibility.

* Designs Service Process Studio flows to support key member service journeys.

* Implements case record types, workflows, queues, and routing logic.

* Configures and tests the Five9 CTI adapter, including screen pops and call logging.

* Integrates external data sources and marketing feeds into Salesforce via connectors.

* Delivers segmented audiences and unified profiles to Marketing Cloud via Data Cloud.

* Conducts regular data audits, validation routines, and deduplication efforts to ensure compliance with data governance standards.

* Collaborates with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into platform solutions.

* Leads user acceptance testing (UAT) and functional training sessions.

* Develops technical documentation and support internal training efforts.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

* Demonstrated expertise in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and automation tools, to build scalable and maintainable platform solutions.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities used to troubleshoot issues, optimize existing workflows, and improve member service experiences through automation and intelligent design.

* Effective collaboration and communication skills to partner with cross-functional teams and translate complex business needs into technical solutions within Salesforce.

* Agile mindset and adaptability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently while contributing to team-based delivery models using tools like JIRA and Confluence.

* Technical curiosity and strategic thinking, with a passion for leveraging new Salesforce capabilities (e.g., Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud) to drive business impact and innovation.

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile environment.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

* 5+ years of Salesforce platform engineering experience, including Apex, LWC, SOQL, and integration work.

* 2+ years of experience with Financial Services Cloud (FSC), preferably in a regulated or financial environment.

* Experience with Salesforce automation tools: Flows, Process Builder, and Approval Processes.

* Experience with Salesforce integration and data tools (e.g., Data Loader, APIs).

* Familiarity with Five9 or other CTI integrations.

* Strong data hygiene and privacy awareness, including de-duplication and regulatory compliance (GLBA, CCPA, etc.).

* 1+ years of experience integrating Data Cloud (CDP) and Marketing Cloud is preferred.

* Hands-on experience with Google Marketing Platform integrations is preferred.

* Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and agile delivery methodologies is preferred.

* Experience working in a credit union or other financial institution is a plus.

* Experience integrating Salesforce with core banking platforms and marketing systems is a plus.

* Experience with Node/Typescript is a plus.

WORK ARRANGEMENT: The working arrangement for this position is hybrid or remote. Hybrid work is an opportunity to find the right balance between working in the office and remotely, especially if it supports individual success and the needs of our organization. Hybrid schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business unit needs and may vary by department. Although a remote work arrangement may be authorized, those working in a remote position should expect occasional travel to headquarters or other business locations as necessary for work purposes.
