Pay Range - $28 to $37 per hour (Actual base pay based on factors such as relevant experience, education, market, qualifications, and skills)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The role of a sales Administrator is to manage incoming customer inquiries and support the outside sales force with daily sales administration activities. This includes processing a high volume of orders accurately. Processing invoices for all sales transactions, setting pricing and verifying contracts are up to date. The Administrator works directly with the customer on bookings, entry and has wide latitude of communications with Vice President and internal staff. This position will perform a wide range of inside sales duties related to the daily operations of the sales department. The sales administrator is often the final check for prices, delivery dates and customer expedites and may manage several small customers. They liaise with other departments, collect large past due accounts and research new product offerings.

REQUIREMENTS:
2 year AA degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
5+ years sales support or related experience, manufacturing or technical industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
intermediate SAP or other ERP experience
Must be able to work accurately with high attention to detail
Up to 10% travel, local and domestic
Intermediate computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint
Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills

Eligible to work in an ITAR environment

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Enters and maintains sales records or customer changes by obtaining required information; verifies accuracy of sales and credit teams. Liaise with Japan colleagues on a daily basis via email or video call.
  2. Acts as a liaison between customers and production in problem solving and expediting local orders.
  3. Performs fulfillment of orders from intake to delivery using the SAP system.
  4. Prepares and maintains status reports in a variety of reports and tracking tools.
  5. May travel to customer sites, attend tradeshows, or otherwise drive sales activity within own account base.
  6. May train sales support team on a variety of duties. Models the " customer first principle" to ensure the customer is informed and satisfied with Kyocera.
  7. May travel with or without outside sales staff on business development activities.
  8. Generates monthly reports on shipments, sales orders, cancellations and transfers.
  9. Collaborative skills needed to liaise with the Logistics department to confirm timely deliveries.
  10. Commitment to meeting or exceeding sales targets, reporting any deviations or trends when discovered.
  11. Demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and succeed under deadlines. Balance own sales account activity while supporting multiple outside sales reps.
  12. Sales event planning as assigned.
