Overview Abacus Technology is seeking a Wireless Network Engineer to provide technical support for the Air Education and Training Command (AETC) at Randolph AFB. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities
Review vendor project deliverables: site surveys, as-builts, topologies, IP workbooks, etc.
Qualifications 2+ years experience in network engineering or administration. Associate's degree in a related field. Must hold one of the following certifications: CISSP, CASP+ CE, or CSSLP. Wireless LAN certification desired. Strong understanding of wireless technologies and associated equipment (Aruba/Cisco). Experience in networking and troubleshooting. Experience with ServiceNow desired. Experience with MS Office as well as SharePoint. Able to work with people in a team environment and deal effectively with changing project priorities. Must have strong communications skills and be detail-oriented and self-motivated. Demonstrated strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Able to effectively prioritize multiple projects and demonstrate professional customer service skills. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
