The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is $53,200 - $71,800 depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. General Purpose:
Responsible for planning and scheduling production to meet customer demand while optimizing plant capacity, inventory levels, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and adjust daily production schedules based on demand, inventory, labor, and material availability.
- Coordinate with Plant Management to align capacity and tooling with forecasted needs.
- Monitor finished goods inventory to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Schedule new product introductions and ensure accurate SKU-level planning.
- Maintain production data and support capacity planning tools (e.g., MOVEX).
- Collaborate with Planning Manager to analyze forecasts and adjust plans accordingly.
Additional Duties:
- Purchase boot uppers from select suppliers and coordinate raw materials for new products.
- Communicate with suppliers, internal teams, and international reps to align production with orders.
- Support inventory activities and participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with company systems and uphold core values.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, and footwear industry preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (MOVEX, Infor).
- APICS certification and experience with Lean methods (e.g., Kanban) desirable.
